Nearly 1,700 Healthcare Providers

The Prisma Health Midlands Network is comprised of nearly 1,700 healthcare providers from the Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group and independent private practices in four counties in central South Carolina. These counties include Richland, Lexington, Sumter and Fairfield. Providers representing nearly 50 individual specialties work together across all settings of care to achieve the greatest value for our patients – high quality, cost-effective care.

Physician-Led

The Prisma Health Midlands Network is governed by a physician-led Board of Managers and five primary committees comprised of more than 40 Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group and private practice physicians. The committees oversee compliance, budget and payer contracts, quality and care delivery, primary care and network performance. The Sumter Steering Committee provides a link between the Midlands and Sumter regions.
